"Passion 2012 Weekend of Worship"

"Dance Across Birmingham"
Jan. 21, 2012, Birmingham, Ala.

This is a day of free dance classes --- part of the Alabama Dance Festival --- for everyone in the community in Birmingham.

     The event begins with onsite registration at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.

     Events continue through Jan. 31, 2012, with performances by the Brazz Dance Theatre.

 "Dancing In the Throne Room Workshop"

This event is hosted by the Karar Pazaz Liturgical Dance Ministry and will be offered 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both Jan. 14, 2012, and March 10, 2012.

"Calvin Symposium on Worship"

Jan. 26 to 28, 2011, Grand Rapids, Mich.

This annual symposium is hosted by Calvin College; one of this year's presenters is Julia Start, a dance instructor at Turning Pointe School of Dance in Holland, Mich., and adjunct professor of dance and worship at Kuyper College.  She is also coordinator of worship arts at Millbrook Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids.

     Registration ranges from $90 for one day, up to $270 for all three days.
